When i think of Andrew Bird, i think of an insanely creative, wonderfully weird, whistling musical mad scientist (that's probably too small a pigeonhole for him though) But sometimes i forget how good a songwriter he is underneath all that. If you stripped down Fitz to just him and an acoustic guitar, i'd bet it would sound as good.
And i can't help but have a smile plastered on my face whenever i hear this song. Dizzy with joy. The whistles alone have made this my happy place song for quite some time. Counting down the days to his gig at the esplanade!
