#10: Boy Lilikoi by Jónsi

I can't help but be happy when i hear this song. It just has it, this childlike and innocent, yet awe-inspiringly joyful quality about it. When the song starts climaxing, the strings swell, the flutes dance around like butterflies and the drums pound like your heart exploding with joy. Amazing.

The arrangement is beautiful. And the lyrics are deceivingly good as well, there's a childish naivety to it, as Jónsi implores the 'lilikoi boy' (and the listener presumably) to run free and embrace nature and life. "We all grow old, use your life / The world goes and flutters by".. It's like a child cutely giving advice to an adult.. you can't help but listen.

Also, Merry Christmas everyone :)
