This is not just a token Mandopop song on my list, even though i did feel like i should include one seeing as i listen to it at least as much as many other genres, and how alot of my year was spent in Party World singing karaoke ;) The song itself deserves a mention though. While it isn't anything groundbreaking musically, it is Tao Zhe at his heartfelt and vulnerable best, singing about an unrequited love. It gives me this indescribable emotion, which is the same with the best Chinese songs, of this sentimental nostalgia towards that feeling of helpless infatuation we all knew so well in our teenage years, and even now maybe. All with a melody that hangs in your head, making you want to sing along.
