Neil Finn Supergroup - The Sun Came Out

At the end of last year, Neil Finn and friends got together in New Zealand to record the follow up to 2001's 7 Worlds Collide, the original supergroup charity album that Finn assembled. Music royalty like Johnny Marr, Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, Radiohead's Ed O'Brien and Phil Selway and many more contributed to the album, which will be called The Sun Came Out. It comes out August 10, and will be to the benefit of Oxfam International. Tracklist here.

Very excited for this, not least to hear Phil's vocal and songwriting debut on the track 'The Ties That Bind Us'! I'm not sure if this is the same song posted on youtube awhile back (Phil announces the song as Family-something) but i'd expect something similar, something pastoral and floaty with Phil's beautiful voice haha. I remember seeing some interview with the other musicians being very impressed with Phil's songwriting too.
