Thom Yorke did another rare solo set at The Big Chill festival the past weekend. He's done a couple of them in the past year and i really like these solo sets. You get to hear songs, both Radiohead and from the Eraser, stripped down, Thom's voice up front (and his voice was bang on form for this one). You get to see him all friendly with the crowd, having a great time. And i love the way he's been using the loop pedal. Like how he creates multiple tracks to harmonize with himself on the gorgeous new one Give Up The Ghost. Or how he builds a haunting climax on The Gloaming (never thought he'd play this one solo).
