The Flaming Lips are set to release a full album cover of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Can't wait to see what kind of crazy slant they put on one of my favourite records. The Lips are definitely a band i need to get more into.EDIT: here's a video of them playing 'Eclipse' in a radio session (second link on the list, plenty of other cool sessions) Nice, but pretty straightforward i think. I'd like to see them do their own interpretations on the other songs.
On another note, January 2010 is going to be an awesome month! Got tickets to see Green Day with hum and hock :) and Andrew Bird and Cat Power are coming as well! 26 and 13 Jan respectively, tickets both go on sale 12 november on sistic. Can't wait.
