I think it's a beautiful thing how people all over get this communal, festive feeling when Christmas approaches. I know some cynics will say its not really there, others will say its just the commercialisation or whatever, but the thought that maybe the festive season brings even a 1% increase in people's positive feelings towards one another (love, friendship etc etc) means its good, doesn't it. Maybe.
Well i made a Christmas playlist for download because i was feeling festive, its probably not what you would expect from a festive playlist but these songs either have a sense of lulling melancholy or they just give me an unbridled joy listening to them. If anyone does listen to this, you have to listen in order haha. I split the playlist as such, the first half representing a melancholy, contemplative end to the year and the second presents a beautiful, love-filled Christmas and a new year. Merry Christmas.
