I remember a few weeks ago, i came home from work, turned on the computer, only to find out Radiohead had a surprise gig that was webcast live! And i missed it! Thank God for the wonder of recording technology and youtube. This is probably my favourite version of the In Rainbows Videotape because of the synthy feel and all the little sounds Jonny makes in the background. Surely one of the best Thom has ever written, everything clicks together perfectly. The lyrics about talking to your loved ones through a videotape after you have died, the cyclical melody of the piano and the out of step drums resembling a video camera which has run out of tape (to me anyway) I won't be afraid, because i know today has been the most perfect day I've ever seen.
